Paul Smith...An Amazing Artist

Recently I was forwarded some samples of work done by an artist by the name of Paul Smith. Two amazing things...Paul had cerebral palsy and he created all of his art on a typewriter. I don't know about you, but I was lucky to be able to type with a minimum of white out, much less create art on a typewriter. I know I am probably dating myself because there are probably a number of you out there that have never even used a typewriter!

A little information about Paul: He was born in 1921 in Philadelphia and moved to Hollywood, Florida with his family in the 40's. In addition to his art, Paul was also a very accomplished chess player.

He created hundreds of pieces of art over the span of seven decades. Almost all of his art was accomplished using these keys on the typewriter: @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _
